By Christian Vinick, Edited by Carmen Araujo Arte and Galeria Leme
Christian Vinck's paintings unveil an expressive will around small things. He translates an unusual way to read the world from its smallest riparographic fragments. Chrsitian himself describes his work as small, brief, and disjointed stories; as judgements articulated from an absurd or unconscious state. His paintings rise (in the fragmentary, installative and synchronic dimensions) as visual "sentences". Thus, his paintings, or at least the dialogue we can establish from them, invite us to complete our own history, placing us in the same frenetic and indigenus space where these sweet but sharp poetic images emerge.
