Rhythm

Rhythm is a collection of black-and-white photographs of sculptural works by Swiss artist Athene Galiciadis. First exhibited at the Nidwaldner Museum in Stansstad, Switzerland, Galiciadis’ glass, vase-like works recall the quality of water with their deeply reflective appearance, material clarity, and biomorphic forms. Each work is photographed against the same backdrop—a wall formed of wooden boards—allowing each sculpture to be the central focus of the image, appearing as though shape-shifting as the viewer turns the pages of the publication.
